I realized I haven't really submitted too much this summer, so I pulled something from my sketchbook to share. It's Yullen
 I made this not too long before school let out, actually, so early June-ish. I also have a matching Laven one that I'll probably post later.Nyaah, so this was actually a picture for something I had been writing for D.Gray-Man, titled Measured in Sand. "Had been" because I couldn't keep writing it. I got all discouraged cuz I read something similiar that was infinitely better, and also because it was depressing in areas, and I got sad too. D= Maybe I'll pick it up again one day? I mean, chapter One was 19 pages... No use explaining everything, but basically Kanda commits suicide because he finds out Allen is cheating on him with Lavi (his old best friend who he had a falling out with) because their relationship was deteriorating (and because Kanda was chronically depressed) and Allen didn't feel like Kanda was trying to save it (and he kind of wasn't, but again, he was depressed...and not taking his pills D= ). He finds himself a ghost at his funeral, and sees a bunch of upset people and realizes he made a mistake (though he's still angry with Allen). Death AKA Tyki comes to take him away to be judged, and they make a bet; Tyki will rewind Kanda's life by four days, during which time Kanda can try to influence his life enough to change the funeral in some way (ie, make Allen love him enough to cry for him, get Lavi to come, or something along those lines). If Kanda wins he won't have to go to hell, but if he loses he has to take Tyki's job (cuz Tyki hates it XD ) , but either way Kanda has to commit suicide again. From there it would have been Kanda's days, trying to reconcile his relationships with Lavi, Allen and his father before his (second) death, though I probably would have had a corny, happy ending, cuz I hate sad endings... We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
